The first lesson is free, so you can see whether my teaching style would suit you, and so I can assess your current level.
The lesson will be around 30 minutes long (15 minutes for younger children). For complete beginners, it includes some simple aural and rhythm tests. We will also start to learn to read music, and then learn a simple piece to play together for fun.
If you are already at an improver/intermediate/advanced level, I would love to hear you play, so I ask if you would prepare a piece to play to me. It would be helpful to see any exam results. We will then learn a simple piece together to play by ear, or begin to learn a duet.
There will also be time for you to ask any questions you have. Parents are welcome to sit in on this and all lessons.
